TRANSPLANTATION 2008 EXHIBITION FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1)What time do custom stands have access to the exhibition?
Astellas, Roche and Novartis: 10am Saturday 9th August 2008 (until 12pm Sunday 10th August).
2)What time do all other custom stands have access?
1pm Saturday 9th August 2008 (until 12pm Sunday 10th August)
3)What time can I dress my shell scheme stand?
10am until 3pm Sunday 10th August
4) What time does the Exhibition open?
Sunday 10th August at 6pm (until 7.30pm) for the Welcome Reception.
5) What time does the exhibition officially close for move out?
Thursday 14th August 4pm (until 10pm Friday 15th August)
6) What time are the opening hours for the exhibition?
Sunday (Welcome Reception) 10th August 2008 6pm -7pm
Monday 11th August 2008 9.30pm – 4pm
Tuesday 12th August 2008 9.30pm – 4pm
Wednesday 13th August 2008 9.30pm – 4pm
Thursday 14th August 2008 9.30pm – 4pm
7) Will storage be available to exhibitors on-site?
No – all pallets, protective cases and crates must be stored off-site. It will be up to the exhibitor to manage this with their own freight company. Agility is the preferred company recommended by The Meeting Planners and they have been contracted to the Congress. They will make sure all of your equipment is on your stand for your arrival, however if you use another company for deliveries then it is your responsibility to move your materials on to your stand.

8) Where do I pick up my exhibition badge?
You will need to pick up your exhibitor staff badges from the Congress Exhibition Registration Desk located near Exhibit Hall 5.
9) How many exhibitor staff badges does each exhibiting company receive?
You will receive 2 complimentary passes per standard booth.
10) Will names be printed on the exhibitor staff badges?
No – they will just display your company name
11) Will the exhibitor staff badge allow me to enter the conference sessions?
No – the exhibitor badges will only give access to the exhibition and refreshments/lunch. If you wish to attend sessions you will have to be registered as a Delegate.
12) Will the venue accept deliveries on behalf of exhibitors?
The Organisers and the Venue will not accept any responsibility for the safety or well being of any items on, or delivered to, the site in the absence of the Exhibitor or his/her agent or contractor. Deliveries will not be permitted access to the exhibition during open hours.
No goods delivered to the SCEC will be accepted prior to move in on Saturday 10 August and exhibitors must be on site to accept & sign for deliveries as SCEC do not sign on behalf of the exhibitor. To avoid any confusion we recommend using Agility Fairs & Events.
13) Will exhibitors have access to food?
Yes - all tea breaks and lunch breaks will be held in the exhibition hall
14) Which Freight Forwarding Company has been contracted to the exhibition to assist us with deliveries?

15) Can Exhibitors attend any of the social functions?
Yes – exhibitors are able to purchase tickets to all social events. Please contact Jo Sloan on 03 8888 9513 at The Meeting Planners (Conference Organising company) to find out more information.
16) Do exhibiting companies receive a delegate bag?
Yes – each exhibit booth purchased will receive 1 bag.
17) Is there an exhibitor lounge?
Yes – an exhibitor lounge will be made available for exhibit staff
18) Will the delegate badges have a bar code on them that can be scanned?
No – this will not be available.
19) Do exhibitors receive a delegate list after the Congress?
Yes
20) Will exhibitors be allowed to pack down or bump out early?
No – under no circumstances will any exhibitor be able to pack away early. The opening hours are advertised until 4pm on Thursday 14th August and there may be delegates still in the exhibition hall up until this time. Therefore it is against health and safety to start packing away and moving boxes.
