Passport and Visa Information
All travellers to Australia, other than New Zealand, require a valid entry VISA prior to travel to Australia. For many nationalities (29 in total) an Electronic Visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) can be obtained from your travel agent or airline when making your travel arrangements or via the Australian Department of Immigration www.immi.gov.au website. If you are not eligible for an Electronic Travel Authority, you can download an application form for a Short-Stay visa from the website or contact the Australian Mission in your country. You are advised to apply for a visa at least 4-6 weeks out from your intended travel date.
