Dr. Marc W. Cavaillé-Coll
Dr. Marc W. Cavaillé-Coll has been a clinical reviewer for immunosuppressant products in solid organ transplantation at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration since 1992, first in the Division of Antiviral Drug Products and currently in the Division of Special Pathogen and Transplant Products at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, where he is a Medical Officer Team Leader.
After graduating from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemical Sciences, Dr. Cavaillé-Coll received his medical and graduate scientific education at the Institût Pasteur, the Université Pierre & Marie Curie, and the CHU Pitié-Salpétrière, in Paris, France. There he earned a Doctorate of Medicine, and a Doctorat de 3ême Cycle (Ph.D.) in Immunology, while working in the Laboratory for Nephrologic and Transplantation Immunology of Professors Marcel Legrain and Jean-Claude Gluckman.
He completed post-graduate training in internal medicine at the Miriam Hospital and Brown University Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A. and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard University Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Dr Bertram L. Kasiske
Dr. Kasiske received his B.S. from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, in 1972, and his M.D. from the University of Iowa School of
Medicine in 1976. He completed a Nephrology Fellowship at Hennepin County Medical in 1983.
He is Director of the Division of Nephrology, Hennepin County Medical Center; Director of Transplant Nephrology, University of Minnesota; and Professor, School of Medicine, University of Minnesota.
Dr. Kasiske currently serves as a Co-Investigator for the United States Renal Data System (USRDS) Coordinating Center. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, 2002-06.
