Dr Josep Grinyó
Josep Grinyó, MD, PhD, is the Chief of Nephrology at the University Hospital of Bellvitge and Full Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, Department of Medicine. Dr. Grinyó’s research work on renal transplantation has been focused on immunosuppression, ischemia-reperfusion injury and chronic allograft damage in the clinical setting and in experimental animal models.
Dr. Grinyó is Associate Editor of the American Journal of Transplantation, Current Opinion in Transplantation and Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation. Dr. Grinyó has been widely published, having authored or co-authored over 150 articles in journal publications. Dr. Grinyó has also participated in more than 130 international lectureships, seminar invitations and visiting professorships throughout his career.
